AC Power Supply Cabinet

Power supply cabinet is designed for uninterrupted power supply of auxiliary circuits of switching needs, switchgears and other units.

Power supply cabinet is complete and self-efficient unit. It includes all necessary devices for switching, signalling and parameters measuring to supply uninterrupted power for operational equipment of the substation and to notify maintenance staff about events requiring attention.

Control elements are divided into two groups: First group, which consists of the most frequently used elements along with signalling and control elements, is located on the cabinet's doors. Second group includes switching units for outgoing lines. They are located inside the cabinet on turning panels that provide a high safety level for the staff and also ease of prompt access to the protection and switching units during maintenance works.

Cabinet can accept power supply from three independent power sources. The intelligent switching system automatically distribute load between two remaining inputs in case of one power source failure. It assures constant and uninterrupted power supply on the output.

Cabinet's design provides one-sided maintenance with IP54 protection level in accordance with IEC 529, EN 60529.
