Switchgear with Linear Disconnector

Switchgears with Linear Disconnector are provided for closing and opening of metro contact rail dead parts in tunnel and depot.

They provide supply line switching with rated current 4000 А.

Design

Switchgears with Linear Disconnector are manufactured in RITTAL (Germany) casing and are applied as one-side serviced complete devices.

Switchgears with Linear Disconnector consist of two compartments:

  • compartment with disconnector and power jumper;  
  • control and disconnector drive compartment. 

There are several modifications of cabinets depending on number and location of connected power cables and bus bars at input and output. 

There is a possibility of disconnector drive control in local or remote modes.

We use components of leading world manufacturers in Switchgears with Linear Disconnector. Protection class IP54. Climatic execution and placement category: O1 – for depot (external installation), O4 – for tunnels (internal installation).

Overview window for visual observation of disconnector operation is on control compartment door. A small cabinet with disconnector control buttons and lighting switch is installed in the top part of the door. The cabinet is equipped with a door with locks in form of free key-handle.

Connection of power cables to disconnector is done via cable clamps and special marine pressure seals. Pressure seals provide high sealing level in conditions of equipment operation in metro tunnels. Connection of power bus bar to disconnector is done from below through a hole in insulation panel installed on the bottom.
